DAIRconnect
The challenge
DAIR (Dutch Association of Institutional Research) is an association of researchers aiming to enhance member engagement and position itself more clearly as a knowledge network where expertise on Institutional Research as a profession and discipline is accessible and approachable. The core of the assignment involved creating an interactive platform that facilitates and proactively stimulates knowledge sharing and interaction among DAIR members.
The solution
A design was provided for an online platform called DAIRconnect. The proof of concept was primarily developed through co-creative sessions. The platform addresses the needs of members by enabling knowledge sharing, attending events, and making it easy to connect with one another. This inspires members and proactively encourages them to contribute to the community.
Through the implementation of the design, knowledge exchange is promoted in an accessible way for members who were previously active in separate fields. Now, with the platform, interactive developments can take place, allowing them to create greater impact as institutional researchers.
A platform for knowledge sharing
Through DAIRconnect, it is possible to share contributions such as publications, reports, and presentations on both internal and external levels, thereby fostering interaction among members. This way, members can gain insight into each other's contributions, hold discussions, and easily ask theme-based questions.
